The Board and Staff of Piedmont Access To Health Services, Inc. (PATHS) is proud to announce its effort to align all services and programs under an easily recognizable structure.

Piedmont Access To Health Services, Inc. (“PATHS”) is proud to announce that the office it operates in Martinsville, formerly known as the Health Center of the Piedmont – Martinsville has relocated to 287 Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville, VA, and will be known as PATHS’ Community Medical Center. The new facility will more than double the office’s square footage, which will accommodate PATHS plans for immediate growth. The new identity will help bring awareness to all that PATHS offers in a cohesive and easily-recognizable way.

During this bitter cold weather it is difficult to see patients come into our centers in flimsy sweaters or jackets...  Or to pass someone on the street and know they have to be cold in their meager clothes...  Many of us have coats, scarf’s and gloves that we no longer wear and can be put to good use. 

Accessing counseling and prescription medications in Danville/Pittsylvania County is difficult – especially for the uninsured and underinsured. The Free Clinic of Danville, Piedmont Access To Health Services (“PATHS”) and Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services are proud to announce a new partnership that will make a difference for individuals with common mental illnesses, such as anxiety disorders, or mild-to-moderate depressive disorders.

When a child dies, the world stops for that family, and the holidays become a time of painful rememberrance rather than a time of celebration. The 14th Compassional Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting has been set for December 12, and marks a day where families around the globe will light candles in rememberrance of all children who have died -- regardless of age, cause of death or ethnic origin. p>

Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc.(PATHS) announced today it will relocate its Community Dental Clinic from Danville Community College’s (DCC) Foundation Hall to its 705 Main Street offices following a unanimous vote by 12 Board of Directors, which includes 8 patients. 

A major focus of the current health care debate has been how to help the uninsured. The uninsured are often locked out of access to even the most basic of health care services, simply because they cannot afford care. But just who are these uninsured? There is often a perception in the community that these folks are the down and out, the homeless, and those people who live on the fringe of our society and who just do not care, free-loaders if you will. This could not be further from the truth.
