Job Description:

SUMMARY

To provide support in all duties of the Human Resources Department.

 

Education and/or experience

High School Diploma/GED required.

Associate’s degree in Business Administration strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of human resources and employee benefits required.

·         Knowledge of benefits administration

·         Excellent verbal and written communication,

Essential Functions

  1. Sends and receives new hire paperwork to new employees.
  2. Sets up all new hire drug tests as well as quarterly random drug testing.
  3. Takes employee pictures, makes and distributes employee badges.
  4. Serves as the point person for the employee wellness program.
  5. Receives all incident reports and makes sure that required signatures are completed and sends to Risk Manager.
  6. Adds all new hires to the Virginia New Hire Center.
  7. Completes EVerify on all new hires.
  8. Scans new employee paperwork into their personnel file.
  9. Serves as Benefits Administrator and helps employees with benefits enrollment and any questions and/or concerns.
  10. Enters employee information into the employee navigator system for benefits.
  11. Helps employees, as needed, with HR related issues.
  12. Distributes probationary and annual evaluations to site managers and ensures they are returned in a timely manner
  13. Enters required employees into the NPDB system.
  14. Forwards Payroll manager all new hire payroll forms.

  4. Processes all new employees: including information sheets, EVerify, tax forms, acknowledgement forms of policies, and OSHA & HIPAA testing.
  5. Serves as Benefits Administrator and helps employees with all benefits concerns.
  6. Scans employee paperwork into their personnel files.
  7. Sets up all new employees in MedTrainer system and assigns trainings as needed.
  8. Enters employee information into the employee navigator system for benefits.
  9. Monitors unemployment claims and appeals.
  10. Helps employees, as needed, with HR related issues.
  11. Distributes probationary and annual evaluations to site managers and ensures they are returned in a timely manner
  12. Performs monthly employee name testing through OIG and NPDB.
  13. Prepares monthly HR Dashboard Report for Board.
